Reverse Advent Calendar Your Wealth

Ever since the age of 6, I’ve adored Advent calendars.

I fell in love with them with the very first one my WASPY grandmother sent (a ship whose portholes opened onto holiday scenes). I loved the daily ritual, and the delightful surprise behind the window.

For the second year in a row, I bought a Palais Des Thés Calendar because I drink gallons of tea every day — my favorite means of procrastination. I am proud to report I planned ahead and purchased it in October, feeling very smug about having Xmas under control. I then made the mistake of tucking it away for safekeeping.

It took me until December 5th to realize that I had missed my daily office treats. 🤦🏻‍♀️

That is why I now have 5 different fancy pants teabags to deploy in service of work avoidance.
