When You’re at a Loss of Things to Write About, Find the Day’s Tiny Miracles

Gratitude Can Be Found in the Smallest Experiences

I had all these ideas to write about.

Instead, I did the dishes, roasted Brussels sprouts & zucchini, turned soft blueberries into compote for chia pudding, steamed string beans, snow peas, and snap peas, made a salad and dressing. Now I forget what I wanted to say.

Ever happen to you?

I know with practice, a designated time, and discipline, you can summon creativity at will. Not me. I write when the spirit moves me and when I ignore it, it tells me to go fuck myself. So what do I do when that happens?

I find the day’s tiny miracles.

There are always miracles to be found in everyday life worth writing about. What were today’s miracles and why should you care?

  1. One client found out she’s investing too much into illiquid assets and creating a false sense of cash scarcity. Is your balance sheet well balanced?
  2. She’s fully booked as a coach and hadn’t even noticed, never mind celebrated. Is there something good in your life you’re blowing off?
  3. I stopped for gas at a wine store. It had great wine…
